• Business Card Data: The contact information and design choices you enter when creating digital business cards. This data is stored locally on your device and on our secure servers to generate Apple Wallet passes.
• Account Information: When you register, we collect your name and email address for authentication purposes.
• Photos: If you upload an avatar or logo for your business card, the image is stored on our secure cloud storage.
• Purchase Information: When you purchase BasicCard or FlexiCard, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store payment information.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to:

• Create and display your digital business cards
• Generate Apple Wallet passes for your cards
• Store your card data so you can access it across sessions
• Enable sharing functionality (QR codes, NFC, links)

Data Storage and Security

Your business card data is stored locally on your device and on our secure servers. Images are stored on encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and secure authentication via JWT tokens.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store: For processing in-app purchases, governed by Apple's privacy policy.
• DigitalOcean Spaces: For secure image and file storage.

We do not sell or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device and our servers for as long as you use the app. You can delete your cards at any time within the app. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us.

Children's Privacy

eCardify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
